Hi, I'm Ned Hancock. We're in the citrus business, in Highlands, in Hardee County, Florida. It's a business we started in 1989. I've been an AgriEdge grower well over 10 years.
What attracted me to it was the record-keeping part of it. They have a great program where, as you input your data, it also archives it in a manner that makes it easy to go back to. By individual tracks, by individual farms, or even by areas. Especially after we harvest and we start to put in some of that data. We'll go back and look at different blocks and different things and see if our timing was a little different, what made one better than the other. And a lot of times you can simply, it makes it real easy to access that information with the AgriEdge program.
I think it's made me a better steward of the land because I can now quickly say, "No, I'm at my maximum loads on that product, so I need to do something else". Or "Wait a minute, I don't need to be this close together with these two applications. Maybe I need to look at different opportunities or different options.
