My name is Ken Gregory. I'm a farmer from East Carroll Parish, around a little town called Lake Providence. We farm 3,500 acres of soybeans and corn.
Cropwise™ Financials has been monumental in how we've tried to revolutionize the way that we store our data and our field inputs. It's put a more detailed aspect on how we figure in what kind of chemicals we're using, seed rates, price of those inputs, and it's made it to a more field by field detailed process. There are so many more attributes to this thing, and so I'm looking forward to working with Cropwise even more into the future.
It's very user-friendly. So, it allows you to be able to go into each field and you can log in your inputs, field by field, and your rates and everything like that. And it's proved to be very instrumental in how we keep our records and log in our inputs. And it used to just be notebooks scattered all over the place. Now we have it consolidated into just one database. And if we want to pull up one field, we can pull it up. If we want to pull up the whole farm, we can pull it up. That's what I love about it so far.
The way that Syngenta has Cropwise set up, and the technical support that comes with it, it has proven to be such a major asset already to my operation.
I would highly recommend that to other growers in the AgriEdge partnership, to look into that.
